[NC11-AM] Alright, well obviously by the title you can guess what this is about. Mainly i'm guna share with you guys a little chromatic thing i watched on a video awhile back. It's made my playing way faster and alot more accurate. This is just a simple little warm up things you can do(many finger exercises are just warm ups). Anyways here is what you do.
Also the best and most affective way to get this to help alot is keep all your fingers on a sinlge fret when doing this. Just as a sidenote do this at a tempo that you feel comfortable doing so you can hear every note nice and clearly.Figure 1
Once you get to the top you mainly reverse and decend.
Figure 2
Also try alternate picking on each note or even switch up the picking. After you do this and you start getting the hang of it then you can switch it up and say you do figure 1 then move up a fret and do figure 2. Then you just keep moving up and you'll get used to every fret and moving up and down the fret bored. Ok here's something a little more complicated but this help when you start noticing that you can do figure 1&2 at any speed.
figure 3
Simple enough right.
Figure 4
The same thing applies here as what I said for figure 1 and 2 once you start getting the hang of it switch it up. Do figure 3 on the first fret as your lowest note and then move it up and make it so when you decend and reverse(ie.figure 4) it that the second fret is ur lowest note.
Alright well this I believe is the last two figures I can do for right now but it deals with reach it's the same level as everything else I've been saying and it's along the same lines.
Figure 5
This can be extremely hard for some but very simple for others, but it all depends on your finger length and how confortable you are with the fret board.
Figure 6
Alright that's mainly the exercises and stuff that I got for right now. But with these exercises there are many different ways you can switch it up. The more you switch it up then the more easily you be able to pick stuff up and everything but yeah keep practising and remember there's always new things to learn. ROCK ON!
you can do the same thing to practice economy picking and sweeps like
e-----4--1----
b-----4--1----3---2---
g-----4--1----3---2---2-----3--
d-----3--2----2---3---1-----4-
a-----2--3----1---4-----
e-----1--4-----
use sweeping to do this then reverse the order of the notes ascending and descending to practice reverse
